Hi, I am Eva Jagun. I founded my Band JAGUN in 2007 in Berlin. From the age of two I startet singing and improvising, sitting on top of my father´s piano. Inspired by Bach, Herbie Hancock, Michel Legrand and what else my dad offered and played for me on the piano, my love for music increased.
I grew up with three sisters and one little brother. For us music was part of our everyday life. These early impression gave me a natural approach to music, and there is not one day in my life where I haven´t sung ore played a little tune on the piano or on my violin.....
Looking for something bigger,I moved from my home town near Cologne to Germany’s capital Berlin. I startet intensive playing, writing and recording with several great producers and live-performers who helped me to create my own style.

From the age of 7 I joined in several ensembles (violin, flute), choires, bands and jazz-duos and made my first experiences. After a couple of months in the United States where I dived into music and discovered jazz, some blues and latin jazz straight from the source, I moved to Hamburg. There I graduated from the „School of Music“ in 2001.

My songs are never made by rational sources, but always by the love for music and a story that needs to be expressed. My style is formed by people and wonderful musicians that surround me and give me the power of inspiration.....
